The purpose of this article is to discuss the different payment methods when purchasing and maintaining a DotActiv software license.
You will be able to purchase the DotActiv software in two ways. You can make a purchase through our online store or sign a contract after going through an in-depth process with one of our sales consultants. Either of these will have a different payment method.
Credit Card
When making a purchase on our online store, FastSpring, you will be required to enter in your credit card information in order to finalise your purchase.
The payment will come off automatically monthly, or yearly depending on the period you choose. You would need to cancel your subscription should you want the payment to stop, you will still have access to your license until the end of the paid period.
Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT)
If you have signed a contract with us a payment method will be discussed. One of the options will be via EFT or Electronic Fund Transfer. This is a manual payment method and will need to be paid every month, or year depending on the period you choose.
The cancellation policy is included in your contract when signed.
PayPal
If you are a client outside of South Africa you may have a different payment method in mind. One of the payment options when signing a contract with us will be via Paypal. This is a manual payment method and will need to be paid every month, or year depending on the period you choose.

How To Switch Payment Methods
If you would like to switch your payment method to any of the other methods mentioned, please get into contact with your Account Manager or Customer Success Consultant who will assist you with facilitating this process.
Online store (FastSpring) clients, will have to cancel their subscriptions themselves and their DotActiv consultant will assist with drawing up a contract for EFT or PayPal payment options.
