The purpose of this article is to provide you with a clear step-by-step process on how to rotate and view floor plans from the front, top or left in DotActiv software.

Viewing Floor Plans
After opening a floor plan, ensure that you are in the ‘Tools’ tab. To the right of the ‘Renumber’ section, you will find three buttons – Front, Left, and Top. These allow you to change the orientation of your floor plan.
‘Top’ is the default orientation of a floor plan.
Select ‘Front’, and the orientation of the floor plan will change and appear as it would if you were standing in front of the store.
If you select ‘Left’, the orientation of the floor plan will change and appear as it would if you were standing to the left of the store, facing the store.
Select ‘Top’ and the orientation of the floor plan will change and give you a birdseye view of the floor plan.
Rotating Floor Plans
After opening a floor plan, right-click on the floor and you’ll see the rotate options on the context menu. You are able to rotate the floor plan 90° or 180°.
