This article will explain how you can create an Excel data template in the DotActiv software. This is extremely handy when requesting data as there will be no confusion regarding what information is needed.
How To Create And Save An Excel Data Template
1. Open the DotActiv application, navigate to the ‘Data’ tab and click on the ‘Save’ icon above.
2. Now, select where you would like to save the template. You can also choose whether you want to save a ‘Full’ or ‘Product Only’ template.
Your Excel data template will now be opened, ready to be sent to your respective client or supplier to accompany your data request.

Please note that you must have access to Excel to upload an Excel file to the DotActiv application.
You can also use LibreOffice which is free to download for anyone. We have not tested this program ourselves. However, this does not mean that you should not consider using this program to open and upload an Excel file to the DotActiv application. You can download and read more about LibreOffice here.
