The purpose of this article is to provide a step-by-step process on how to snip a floor plan in the DotActiv Software.
Applicable Products: DotActiv Enterprise
Step 1: In the DotActiv Software, navigate to the ‘Space Planning’ tab and open an existing or new floor plan.
Once your floor plan is open, the‘Tools’ tab will open, here you can scroll to the right of the ribbon until you see ‘Snip’.
Step 2: Click on ‘Snip’ and use the cursor to capture the floor plan as displayed. For this example, we have selected the entire floor as you will see by the dotted lines around the floor.
Step 3: Once done, a Snip Preview will appear as shown below. On the Snip Preview, a quality drop-down menu allows you to keep the original or scale the snip according to the options provided.
Step 4: After the quality option is selected, click ‘Save’. A pop-up called ‘Save As’ will appear to allow you to save the Floor Plan in a folder with a name of your choice.
