This article explains DotActiv’s Warranty agreement. It covers the steps DotActiv has in place for handling any software errors.
DotActiv does everything in its power to provide quality products which not only perform according to our technical documentation but also help our customers to do great things.
Accordingly, DotActiv warrants to paid users that the Software will perform substantially in accordance with its documentation. If an error occurs, DotActiv will use commercially reasonable efforts to correct such errors. As a standard policy, any errors/bugs are treated as a priority. That’s because we feel a sense of duty to minimise interruptions.
DotActiv does not warrant that the Software or the Documentation (or the Buyer’s use of it) will be free from all errors or that its use will be uninterrupted. However, DotActiv does warrant that all reasonable commercial efforts will be made to fix errors that come to light as quickly as possible.
Reporting An Error Or Bug
When an error occurs, we strive to fix them straight away.
For DotActiv to correct an error, we require that the error is logged as a bug and that the bug report includes the following:
- A description of the failure to perform (ie what went wrong?)
- A description of the operating conditions (if possible the specific software/hardware configuration) under which the failure occurred, and
- A representative sample of inputs for repeating and analyzing the failure.
Since third party software is entirely outside of our control, we are unable to make any warranties for such third party software.
