How To Transfer A DotActiv License To A Different User

The purpose of this article is to explain how you can transfer a DotActiv license from one user to another.

Applicable Products: DotActiv Lite, DotActiv Pro, DotActiv Enterprise

DotActiv’s licenses are unique to each user and linked to their laptop or computer. That is why you cannot use the same license that someone else uses on your computer.

Reasons To Transfer A DotActiv License

However, there are certain circumstances where you can transfer a license to a different user.

Below are a few reasons.

  1. The original user has resigned and a new employee will use their work laptop or computer;
  2. The original user changes position within the business and someone takes over their role;
  3. The original user has a new laptop; or
  4. You have purchased multiple editions of the software and assigned the incorrect licenses to the incorrect people.
