At DotActiv, our IT team works hard to improve our product and service offerings. Therefore, we regularly announce version updates to DotActiv Free, DotActiv Lite, DotActiv Pro and DotActiv Enterprise users.
We also announce regular updates for our team management software, Activ8.
No Additional Costs
DotActiv
Any minor tweaks or significant changes are offered through our software updates at no additional cost.
The purchase price of your DotActiv license includes the latest version of DotActiv as well as all future versions that will be available for download. The version updates include software enhancements, new features and bug fixes.
Activ8
All updates and improvements are included in the purchase price and you will always have access to the latest version of Activ8.
Similar to DotActiv, the version updates for Activ8 will include software enhancements, new features and bug fixes.
Updating Software

If you are a DotActiv software user, you can find release notes on the home screen after opening DotActiv.
Alternatively, version updates and release notes can be found under the ‘Help’ tab by clicking on ‘Check for Updates’ as illustrated in the GIF above.
Activ8
When a new update is available, you will receive a notification when logging into Activ8 in the form of a pop-up window. If you are already in Activ8, as soon as a new version is available, a window will pop-up.
This window will include detailed information about any software enhancements, new features or bug fixes.
