DotActiv offers premium one-on-one or group training to their DotActiv software clients. This includes all editions – Lite, Pro and Enterprise.
The purpose of this article is to help you prepare for your training session so that you can make the best of your time with DotActiv.
How Does Booking A Premium Training Session Work?
DotActiv offers two main training options, namely our standard and premium training. Our standard training is designed to supplement the basic learning which is done on the DotActiv Academy and is offered for free with any DotActiv software licence purchase. This means that you can access three free 1-hour one-on-one training sessions if you simply complete the Mastery Levels on the DotActiv Academy once you have purchased your licence.
On the other hand, our premium training aims to offer packaged training modules that can be purchased at a premium by those customers who prefer virtual one-on-one or group setting training sessions.
Once you have purchased your DotActiv software and received your licence, you might be interested in receiving DotActiv’s premium training to get started quickly. Read this article linked here to find out if this training option is right for you.
Once you have installed the software and you are all set up, you can contact your software account advisor to assist you in deciding which premium training packages would be best suited to your needs. The training specialist will provide the account advisor with the recommended training package options based on your software edition and needs.
Your account advisor will then provide you with a proposal and inform you of how payment can be made. Once the proposal/ quote has been accepted and we have received the proof of payment you will be able to arrange a suitable date and time slot. Please allow for a lead time of 2- 3 business days in order to ensure that we have enough time to tailor this session to your specific needs.
At this stage, the training specialist will be in contact with you to make arrangements for your premium training session and book a session based upon availability.
Please note that this process might take a few days.
What To Expect?
The premium training sessions run for approximately 2 hours per module.
It is suggested that if you have purchased more than one premium training module/package that these sessions take place over a few days. This will allow time to process all the new information learned and you will then have time to practice on the software within your schedules.
The premium training sessions will take place virtually via Google Meet (or alternatively your preferred virtual meeting tool) and the training specialist will take you through the software while covering all the items listed on the agenda.
What To Prepare for Your Session?
Please ensure that you have installed your DotActiv software and activated your licence before the session.
We strongly advise that you follow the below steps when scheduling your session(s):
- Create a list of any questions you might have about the premium training module that we will be focusing on during the session – this enables our training specialist to prepare and customise your training experience.
- Send any additional questions that you would like answered to the training specialist once payment has been made.
- If you are able to provide any additional context, such as information about your current project, please include this as it will help us customise your training experience to your specific needs.
Please note that each premium training package/ module has its own standard agenda and your questions should be specific to the module.
What Should You Bring To The Session?
You do not need to bring anything to the session, however, it is always good to have a notepad or if you prefer to make notes electronically, you can ensure that you have a notepad or blank document open on your desktop.
Furthermore, since this session will take place virtually ensure that your device is charged as the session can take up to roughly 2 hours.
