How To Set Up Activ8

The purpose of this article is to provide you with an easy-to-follow process if you are a new user who has just signed up and logged in to Activ8 for the very first time. 

Applicable Products: Activ8

Once you have signed up to Activ8 you will be asked to fill in some details in order to sign in, as seen in the window below. You can use the details that you entered when you signed up. Once you have filled in your details, you can proceed to click on ‘Sign In’.

Once you have signed in, the following ‘First Time Set-up Wizard’ screen will appear which explains that you will be required to complete all the necessary information in each field before proceeding to the next step. 

Welcome 

The first section is a welcome message which explains that you will be taken through a basic setup process, as seen below. 

Company Location 

Here you can fill in your location and region. 

  • Location Name 
  • Region Name 

Your Profile 

In this section you will be completing your profile by filling in the following fields: 

  • First Name 
  • Last Name
  • Date of Birth 
  • Work Email 
  • Cell Phone Number
  • Cell Phone Opertaing System 
  • Title 
  • Job Title 
  • Department 
  • Date of Employment 
  • Working Hours 

Application Settings

In this section, you will be required to set up some general application settings by filling in the fields below. 

  • Current Fuel Price
  • Fuel Consumption 
  • Notification Email 
  • Leave Types 

Additional Notes

Once you have completed the ‘First Time Set-up Wizard’ process, you are all ready to get started with the software. We suggest that you start getting acquainted with the system by reading the knowledgebase articles listed in our Activ8 Quick Start Guides.

Please note that should you wish to change any of the above details in the future, you can proceed to ‘Administration’ and select ‘Application Settings’ to make the necessary adjustments.
