The purpose of this article is to unpack the step-by-step process on how to split print planograms that have been added to a custom report in the DotActiv software.
Applicable Products: DotActiv Enterprise
Step 1: Open a custom report template in the DotActiv software.
Step 2: Once you’ve opened the template, ensure that the Plano Properties of the planogram in the template have been set to ‘Split across multiple pages’, as per the screenshot below.
Step 3: Generate/ run the custom report and map the planogram as your data source.
Step 4: Edit columns as you would when creating the full plano report, eg removing Position Number. This is based on what is required by the customer.
Step 5: Once happy, press “Ctrl + P” on your keyboard or alternatively navigate to ‘File’ > ‘Print’.
Step 6: Select the PDF creator or printing option that you would like to use.
Step 7: Ensure that the correct directory is chosen and both ‘Output Multiple Files’ and ‘Split By Segments’ are selected, as seen in the screenshot below.
Please note that you can select and deselect whichever drops you do or do not want to print.
Step 8: Once done, click ‘Print’.
