How To Report On Cross Merchandised SKUs For All Categories

The purpose of this article is to explain how you can report on cross-merchandised SKUs across all of your categories using DotActiv software.

Applicable Products: DotActiv Pro, DotActiv Enterprise

Reporting on Cross Merchandised SKU’s

After opening DotActiv, ensure you are in the ‘Reporting’ tab. Here, select the ‘Cross Merchandising’ icon in the ‘Advanced’ section.

In selecting the ‘Cross Merchandising’ icon, the ‘Cross Merchandising Report’ grid will appear.

The Cross Merchandising Report includes the following fields:

  • Department;
  • Category;
  • Plano Category;
  • Product Code;
  • Product Description;
  • Plano Format;
  • Plano NOD (number of drops);
  • Date Completed;
  • Implementation Date;
  • Completed By;
  • Date Imported;
  • Actual Facings;
  • Actual Facings High;
  • Actual Facings Deep; and
  • Capacity

In the above grid, we have selected the Baby Care department and the Baby Hardware category. The planograms we are looking at are for Baby Paper.

The ‘Plano Format’ field with ‘Tier’ groupings represents your store clusters. You might find some of the lines duplicated as some stores may have similar drop counts and in similar tiers.

It does not indicate in which store products are cross merchandised but narrows it down to your Clusters by listing the planograms in which the cross-merchandising occurs.

Should the above steps not work for you, please create a support ticket and DotActiv support will assist you in uncovering the issue.
