The purpose of this article is to help guide you to turn a planoguide on or off while working in DotActiv software.

The ‘Guide’ function, in the ‘Planogram Analysis’ section, under the ‘Tools’ tab can be used to group products on the planogram according to certain characteristics. It also allows you to be able to identify groupings of products with the ‘Guide’ function.
Finding The Planoguide Function
After opening DotActiv, navigate to the ‘Space Planning’ tab and click on ‘Open’ to open an existing planogram.
With your planogram open, first, ensure that you are in the ‘Tools’ tab.
Next, scroll to the ‘Planogram Analysis’ section on the far right and click on the ‘Guide’ icon.
Clicking on the ‘Guide’ icon opens the ‘Select Data Field’ window. Here, you can choose which data field you prefer to use.
After choosing your field, your planoguide will appear according to the chosen field.
After using the planoguide option, you can always return to your planogram. Should you wish to, you can click on the ‘Guide’ icon to turn it off.
