The purpose of this article is to help guide you on how to automatically create multiple promotional planograms in DotActiv software.
Please note that you have to have access to a database to use this function.
First, open an existing planogram. Ensure you are in the ‘Tools’ tab. Then, scroll to the far right of the ribbon to find the ‘Tools’ section. From the drop-down menu, select ‘Automate Planograms’.
Doing so brings up the ‘Automate Planograms’ window (as seen below). In this window, you can input values for ‘Section’, ‘Column’ and ‘Field’. You can also include all stores or select specific stores.
Fill in the information you need and select the Stores or Clusters, as well as the output directory and click ‘OK’.
In the below example, we selected the category format and then the stores we needed the planograms for.
A pop up will appear stating that the number of planograms selected was generated.
Navigate to the directory selected to find the generated planograms.
