The purpose of this article is to offer you a clear step-by-step process to help you refresh a report from a reporting template in DotActiv software.
Refreshing A Report
After running your report, you may notice that something from your template was not set up correctly.
You can open your template, make the changes, save it and then go back to your report and refresh it to reflect those changes.
Editing The Template And Saving The Changes
With your report open, click on the Text box to bring up the ‘Custom Report – Text Properties’ window.
Once there, you can make any changes. The same applies to any other object that you’ve placed in your report – Image, Planogram, Grid, Graph or Automation Template.
After making your changes, click ‘OK’. Then go to ‘File’, and click ‘Save’.
Refreshing The Report
After clicking ‘Save’, and with your report open, ensure that you are in the ‘Tools’ tab. Under the ‘Edit’ section, you’ll find ‘Refresh’. Click on it to refresh your report.
A window will pop up saying that you have refreshed your report successfully.
