The purpose of this article is to unpack the different viewing options when using DotActiv Viewer.
To be able to follow the steps listed below, ensure that you are logged in to a database.
To log in to a database, open the DotActiv software. Select the applicable configuration, untick the ‘No Database’ box, enter the relevant details and click ‘OK’, as seen below.
Navigate to the ‘Clustering’ tab, and click on the ‘Cluster Optimizer’. This will open a window with a list of all the saved existing cluster plans in Cluster Optimizer as seen below.
Select the plan you would like to view and click ‘OK’.
Navigate to the ‘Clustering’ tab and click on the ‘Maintenance’ icon to open an existing cluster plan in Cluster Maintenance.
Alternatively, you can open an existing plan from the shortcuts in the Welcome menu.
If you’d like to report on the existing Cluster Maintenance plans, you can do so by clicking on ‘Reporting’ from the drop-down menu below. The available reports are the ADDM and Changes reports.
